Yes I know, I SUCK!! It’s taking me way too long to get a post up for you guys but it will get better, I promise.
I filmed this tutorial for you yesterday when I was off from work and my mom had my son. I finally had a day to myself and this took me the entire day LOL. The quality is not awesome, but I’ll try to improve it if you really like this way of showing you my tips and tricks.
As you can tell by the title, this is going to show you how I do my everyday makeup in the summer.
I only do this when I go to work and on the weekends when I know I will spend the day outside in hot weather and I need staying power. I prefer long wearing foundations because I really really hate to blot or reapply anything throughout the day. I want my face to look the same as it did when I left the house. In this tutorial, I am wearing Smashbox Studio Skin 15hr Foundation. The name says it all.It is long wearing and looks like my skin. This foundation is a medium/full coverage and I know that is not so ideal for every day use because it can seem like it’s too thick but in the video I show how I apply it by just spraying my foundation brush with a bit of MAC Fix + which lightens the consistency of the product while still keeping it “long-wearing” and also hydrates your skin. For special occasions or nights out, just wear the foundation the way its meant to be worn and it will give you more coverage and look even more flawless. Here is a photo I took in natural light.
