Do you have dark under eye circles??
If you have read my first post, you already know I’m obsessed with covering mine. I’ve recently updated my products because as you also know, I love trying new ones.
Here are my new steps (also seen in video below)
I already have on my foundation, eyebrows and eye makeup.
1. I apply eye cream to my under eyes- Olay Fresh Effects Eye Awakening Cream
2. Apply a color corrector to neutralize the darkness. For dark purple/blue under eyes, the best color corrector shade to use is peach. I applied with a brush but felt better and covered more using my fingers. Apply this until your darkness disappears. Based on your skin tone, choose the appropriate shade of peach- Bobbi Brown corrector- Dark Peach
3. Apply concealer in upside down triangle shape. I do this so that my eyes look more lifted and I look more awake. I blend with my fingers first and then the outer edges with a beauty blender. The beauty blender also removes any excess concealer you may have applied. My concealer is about 2 shades lighter than my skin tone- Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer in Ginger
4. Set the concealer with a powder for longevity and to prevent creasing. I set using a powder foundation 2 shades lighter than my skin with a fluffy tapered brush. Pat in the powder, don’t swipe- MAC Cosmetics Studio Fix powder in C35 or Anastasia Beverly Hills Banana highlight powder.
As always please comment and let me know if you have any questions!
